Frequently asked questions
Can I use the DPS4 with the FX16ii?
No. The DPS4 is designed exclusively as a power supply for the Soundcraft MH2 console. The FX16ii has its own power system and does not use the DPS4.
Which is better for someone new to mixing?
The FX16ii is designed for beginners through advanced users and includes intuitive controls and built-in effects. The DPS4 is a power supply component only and cannot be used independently—it requires an existing MH2 console.
What's the main difference in what these products do?
The FX16ii is a functional mixer with 16 channels and integrated Lexicon effects for recording and live performance. The DPS4 is a power supply component that only works with MH2 consoles and does not perform mixing or effects on its own.
Which one is better for live gigging?
The FX16ii is purpose-built for live performance in a compact format. The DPS4 is only a power supply for an MH2 console; it has no live performance capabilities on its own.
