Frequently asked questions
Will the CXJFF fit an XJ extra long guitar?
No. The CXJFF is molded specifically for standard XJ body contours and will not accommodate the extra long dimensions of XJ extra long models. You need the CXJXLFF for extra long guitars.
Can the CXJXLFF fit a standard 6-string or 12-string XJ?
No. The CXJXLFF is engineered only for XJ extra long guitars and is not designed to secure standard-length models, which would shift inside the oversized interior.
What is the key material difference between these cases?
Both are hardshell cases. The CXJFF uses a wood-body shell with tolex covering, while the CXJXLFF features a rigid hardshell exterior construction. Both include plush-lined interiors and secure latches.
Are these cases weatherproof?
Both cases offer weather and moisture protection. The CXJFF's tolex covering resists dust and light moisture, while the CXJXLFF is explicitly weatherproof against environmental exposure.
