Frequently asked questions
What is the correct model name for the second product?
The listing shows 'EMG B Active Pickup,' but EMG does not manufacture a pickup with that exact designation. Common EMG active models include the 81, 85, 89, and 60. Please confirm the correct model number or name.
Is the EMG SAV suitable for metal?
No — the SAV is optimized for rock, pop, indie, and studio work. Its low-output, single-coil character and bright articulation make it less ideal for metal and djent, where higher output and darker tone are typically preferred.
Does the SAV work in all guitar positions?
Yes, the SAV is designed for bridge, middle, and neck positions on 6-string guitars, making it a versatile option for full-pickup replacement or mixed configurations.
