Frequently asked questions
Which guitar is better for drop tunings and touring?
The TH-1000ET excels here due to its EverTune bridge, which maintains perfect intonation regardless of tuning, environmental conditions, or aggressive playing. The KH-DEMONOLOGY uses a Floyd Rose tremolo, which requires more active tuning management on the road.
Can either guitar handle genres beyond metal?
The TH-1000ET is more versatile, with three switchable pickup voices that range from thick and aggressive to articulate and refined, making it suitable for hard rock and progressive music. The KH-DEMONOLOGY is optimized specifically for thrash and heavy metal; its tone is less adaptable to lighter genres.
What is the main structural difference?
The KH-DEMONOLOGY uses neck-through-body construction for maximum resonance and sustain, while the TH-1000ET uses bolt-on construction, which is slightly more practical for repair and offers slightly more brightness. Both feature identical 25.5-inch scale and extra-jumbo frets.
Why is the KH-DEMONOLOGY listed as B-stock?
It is an unplayed unit with only minor cosmetic warehouse marks; playability and structural integrity are completely intact. This offers savings on a signature model without compromising performance.
