Sound & Tone
The EMG 81 at the bridge pushes tight, high-output mids with a cutting attack that keeps fast palm-muted riffing and lead runs articulate under heavy gain, while the EMG 60 neck pickup adds a clearer, more focused voice for melodic solos and cleaner passages. Neck-through alder and maple construction at a 25.5" scale lends long sustain and a firm low end with defined note separation, and the 24 extra-jumbo frets and Floyd Rose open up the full range for divebombs and vibrato-heavy phrasing. It's aimed squarely at thrash, metal, and hard rock players who want an aggressive, compressed tone that stays tuned through heavy tremolo use.
ESP LTD KH-DEMONOLOGY Kirk Hammett Guitar B-Stock 0237
The KH-DEMONOLOGY delivers aggressive ergonomics through a neck-through construction that channels sustain directly into your hands. The extra-thin U-shaped neck profile sits comfortably for extended sessions, while the contoured alder body provides balance that rewards both seated and standing play. This unplayed B-stock unit arrives with minor cosmetic marks—warehouse handling only—and full playability intact.
Construction & Playability
Neck-through-body design at 25.5" scale ensures maximum resonance through a unified alder and maple assembly. The three-piece maple neck with extra-thin U contour reduces hand fatigue during long sessions, while the macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets supports aggressive playing and rapid position shifts across the entire neck. The 350mm fingerboard radius and 42mm locking nut lock tuning stability and playability in immediately.
Electronics & Hardware
EMG Kirk Hammett Bone Breaker Signature pickups with individual volume controls cut through a live mix with high-output clarity and sustain essential for heavy riffing. The Floyd Rose tremolo system handles aggressive whammy work reliably through extended sets, while black hardware throughout maintains the instrument's cohesive aesthetic and durability.
