Connectivity & Range

The ZC3 connects via two RJ-45 connectors using CAT5 or CAT5E cables, with cable runs supported up to 1000 feet depending on the number of zone controllers in the system. This extended range eliminates the need for expensive custom wiring and allows flexible placement of control surfaces throughout a venue or installation.

Control & Integration

The unit employs analog DC voltage logic control for zone source selection, volume muting, program selection, scene selection, and fire safety muting across compatible dbx processors. DIP switches enable device identification and configuration, while the programmable rotary switch supports direct integration with dbx DriveRack 220i and 260 devices, as well as dbx ZonePRO units for flexible system assignments.
