George Lynch Signature Guitars: ESP & LTD

Pick up a George Lynch model and the superstrat shape tells you what it was made for: fast, aggressive lead playing under stage lights. The Desert Eagle, GL-200K Kamikaze and ESP GL guitars pair a Floyd Rose tremolo with Seymour Duncan Screamin' Demon pickups, a setup built for hard rock and metal players who want bite and sustain at volume.

On stage, the locking tremolo is what matters most. It lets you dive, squeal and flutter with the bar and come back to pitch, which is exactly how this style gets played. The Screamin' Demon pickups give the guitar its high-output, singing lead voice, and the graphic finishes make it stand out from across the room.

Gigging players tend to start with the ESP LTD versions, including the Desert Eagle and the GL-200K in a tiger-style finish. Collectors and players chasing the full signature experience look to the ESP GL Desert Eagle in black with its graphic. The range runs from about $699 to $7,849, and LV Guitars stocks it for players who want a Lynch-style guitar in their hands.
