ESP LTD Josh Middleton Signature Guitars - frequently asked questions
What pickups do the LTD Josh Middleton guitars use?
The series uses Fishman Fluence pickups across the lineup, and electronics are one of its defining features. That gives the JM-I and JM-II a modern voicing aimed at precise, tightly controlled progressive, melodic and heavy metal playing, in line with the style of Josh Middleton of Sylosis and Architects.
What is the difference between the LTD JM-I and JM-II?
Both are single-cutaway designs, which sets them apart from the double-cut superstrat shapes common in metal, and both use Fishman Fluence pickups. The series lets you compare the two body designs side by side. Bridge options include Evertune and fixed designs, depending on the model, and finishes include Black Shadow Burst and Deep Blood Moon.
Should I choose an Evertune or a fixed bridge on a Josh Middleton LTD?
An Evertune bridge is for players who want a setup that holds its tuning exceptionally well. A fixed bridge gives a more traditional feel under the hand. The series offers both. Open-box B-Stock units, discounted and fully covered, are sometimes part of the range, though no left-handed models are currently listed.
