Description
ESP LTD SN-1007HT 7-String Baritone Guitar in Black Blast
The SN-1007HT is built for gigging musicians and studio players who demand extended range without compromise. Its thin U-contoured neck balances speed with comfort across all seven strings, while the 27" baritone scale maintains tight, focused articulation even in extreme tunings. The swamp ash body with sandblasted Black Blast finish delivers resonant, balanced acoustics that cut through live and recorded mixes alike, powered by active Fishman electronics that respond reliably night after night.
Playability & Construction
The neck is a 5-piece roasted maple and purple heart construction with a thin U contour, engineered for stability under the road and comfort during marathon sets. The Macassar ebony fingerboard features a compound radius with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, scalloped from frets 17-24 for quick upper-register access and precision intonation in fast-moving passages.
Tone & Electronics
Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers deliver the articulate warmth and aggressive punch needed for modern metal and progressive styles in a live context. The alnico neck pickup provides clarity for chords and clean tones, while the ceramic bridge pickup offers the aggression needed for driving riffs and solos. Both pickups are splittable via push-pull tone control, giving you secondary voicings on the fly for tonal flexibility across your setlist.

How does the neck feel during fast, technical passages?
The 5-piece rooted maple and purple heart bolt-on neck has a thin U contour for speed and comfort, while the scalloped frets from fret 17–24 and compound-radius ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets provide enhanced control and precision in the upper register.
