ESP Original Series & Custom Guitars | LV Guitars

These are the ESP guitars you buy to keep for a long time. The Original Series and Custom Shop builds are made in Japan, with hand-finished necks that are meant to feel comfortable and fast under your fretting hand, plus top-tier pickups and hardware chosen for stage use. LV Guitars stocks them for players who want a flagship instrument and for collectors.

Pick by feel and by what you play. The Snapper CTM is a familiar, gig-ready platform in Marine Blue or See Thru Black. The Horizon FR CTM adds a floating-style FR bridge and a burled maple top for players who want a bold look under the lights. The FRX Kiso Custom in See Thru Black Sunburst is another standout. Seven-string players can look at the Snapper-7 in Brass Black or Citron Green.

With the current selection running from about $4,600 to $8,750, the differences are in top wood, finish and string count. Choose the one that fits your hands and your rig, and use the live grid below to see what is on the shelf.

ESP Original Series & Custom Guitars - frequently asked questions

What makes ESP Original Series and Custom Shop guitars different from other ESP guitars?

They sit at the top of the ESP line. They are built in Japan and combine premium figured tops, hand-finished necks, top-tier pickups and high-grade hardware. Within the range, models differ mainly in body shape, top wood and finish, string count and bridge style.

Is there a seven-string option in the ESP Original Series?

Yes. The Snapper-7 extends the Snapper design to seven strings and is offered in colors such as Brass Black and Citron Green. Other models in the range, like the Snapper CTM, Horizon FR CTM and FRX Kiso Custom, are the alternatives if you prefer six strings.

Which finishes can I choose from in the ESP Original Series and Custom range?

Finishes include Marine Blue and See Thru Black on the Snapper CTM, and See Thru Black Burst with a burled maple top on the Horizon FR CTM. The FRX Kiso Custom comes in See Thru Black Sunburst. This is a premium tier, so pricing sits in a fairly narrow high-end band, and every instrument is set up and professionally packed with free US shipping.
