G&L Electric Bass Guitars

G&L basses are built for players who spend real time on stage. They feel familiar in the hands, sound clear and punchy through a rig, and are made with the sort of dependable construction that gigging bassists value. LV Guitars stocks a selection that runs from affordable Tribute models to USA-built instruments.

The Tribute Fallout Short Scale is the easy way in. The shorter scale makes for a comfortable, quick-handling neck, a good fit for guitarists doubling on bass, younger players, or anyone who wants less stretch across the fretboard on a long set. Finishes like Surf Green, Olympic White and Jet Black give it a classic look under stage lights.

For players and collectors who want to go further, the USA JB Custom Build to Order bass offers a made-in-America route with a personal spec. Prices span a wide enough range to suit a first bass or a long-term workhorse, so scroll down and see what is ready to ship.

G&L Bass Guitars - frequently asked questions

Is the G&L Tribute Fallout Short Scale a good bass for beginners?

Yes, it suits newer players well. The shorter scale length makes it easy to handle, and it sits at the accessible, entry end of the G&L range. It also works for guitarists adding bass to their setup and anyone who simply prefers a compact instrument. It comes in several finishes, including Surf Green, Olympic White and Jet Black.

What is the difference between G&L Tribute basses and the USA models?

The Tribute series brings G&L's player-minded approach to a more accessible price point, making it the entry end of the range. The USA-built instruments sit at the premium end. The USA JB Custom Build to Order bass, for example, lets buyers have a say in how their instrument is configured.

Can I order a G&L bass built to my own specification?

Yes. The USA JB Custom Build to Order bass is aimed at buyers who want a say in how their instrument is configured. Browse the lineup to compare finishes, scale lengths and build types. Every instrument is set up and professionally packed, and shipping within the US is free.
