Audio Performance & Coverage

The horn produces 105 dB average sensitivity (1 kHz – 6 kHz), peaking at 111 dB at 2 kHz, ensuring announcements cut through room noise and outdoor ambient sound. A 70° horizontal × 90° vertical coverage pattern focuses the sound where it needs to go while a 350 Hz high-pass filter strips away low-end rumble and system noise, keeping spoken word crisp and intelligible across the 400 Hz – 7.5 kHz frequency range.

Transformer & System Integration

The built-in 15-watt transformer supports both 70V and 100V line operation with selectable taps (15W, 7.5W, 3.8W, 1.9W, and 0.9W on 70V; 15W, 7.5W, 3.8W, and 1.9W on 100V), allowing you to dial in exact coverage levels and balance system impedance across a multi-horn deployment. An 8-ohm bypass capability up to 15W RMS (60W peak) lets you run it direct from a low-impedance amp if distributed voltage isn't in the picture.
