SABIAN 18" Artisan Sym Medium Heavy Single

The Medium Heavy weight and hand-crafted dimpling create a focused, centered sound with minimal washy sustain, so articulate attacks cut through ensemble passages without muddying other instruments. This clarity and control across soft to loud dynamics is essential in classical and audition settings where precision matters.

This is a single 18" cymbal, allowing you to customize your setup from scratch or replace a worn component in an existing pair. You can buy multiples to create a matched pair if needed.

Traditional high-density hand hammering combined with modern jumbo-peen dimpling on the underside creates rich, warm tone with excellent projection and clear articulation. This labor-intensive, master-artisan process ensures consistent, professional-grade response across all dynamic ranges.

This cymbal is designed for intermediate, advanced, and professional percussionists who can appreciate and control its articulate, focused character. It excels in classical, orchestral, jazz, and audition contexts where technical control and tonal clarity are priorities.

No—this cymbal is optimized for focused, warm, articulate tone in orchestral and jazz settings. Heavy Metal and Punk players typically need darker, noisier cymbals with more sustain and wash than this design provides.
