Frequently Asked Questions
What does B-Stock mean?
B-Stock means this unit is fully functional with manufacturer warranty intact, but features minor cosmetic imperfections typical of open-box or display inventory. This specific guitar has light blemishes visible on the natural satin finish that are purely superficial and have zero impact on playability, tone, or structural integrity.
Is the thin "C" neck profile suitable for both rhythm and lead playing?
Yes. The thin "C" profile combined with 24 X-Jumbo frets, a 25.5" scale, and 14" fretboard radius creates a platform built for quick fret access during intricate lead passages while maintaining comfortable vintage-style playability for rhythm work.
What tonal range do the Diamond '78 pickups provide?
The Diamond '78 humbuckers deliver thick, punchy power chords paired with a 2-way coil-split toggle that lets you access articulate single-coil textures from the same instrument, making them versatile across blues, rock, metal, and fusion styles.
How stable is the bridge and tuning?
The Wilkinson Tremolo maintains pitch stability through aggressive use and tremolo work, while Schecter locking tuners ensure rock-solid tuning stability session after session, even with frequent string bending and tremolo use.
What genres is this guitar best suited for?
The C-1 Exotic Ebony excels in blues, rock, metal, and fusion; its warm woody core with excellent sustain and punchy power chords make it less ideal for folk and worship music where its tonal character may not serve the aesthetic.
