Schecter C-8 Eight-String Guitars - frequently asked questions
Is the Schecter C-8 a good guitar for metal and djent?
Yes, it is built for low-tuned modern metal and djent. The eighth string adds low range, while the C-shape double-cutaway body keeps the familiar Schecter feel. That makes it a practical choice for players who want extended range without moving away from a design they already know.
Does the Schecter C-8 come in a left-handed version?
Yes. The C-8 Deluxe LH is available in Satin Black, so left-handed players can get the eight-string format too. The right-handed C-8 Deluxe comes in Satin Black and Satin White. Every instrument is set up and professionally packed, and returns are accepted within 30 days.
Is the Schecter C-8 a good first eight-string guitar?
It can be. The C-8 Deluxe keeps eight strings within reach of players trying the format for the first time, with prices in a narrow, fairly affordable band. Players coming from six-string C-style Schecters will also find the double-cutaway shape a natural, familiar starting point.
