Schecter Johnny Christ Signature Basses - frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Schecter Johnny Christ Bass and the Johnny Christ-5?
The difference is mainly string count. The Johnny Christ Bass is the standard four-string, while the Johnny Christ-5 adds a low string for players who want extra range. Both share the Satin Black finish, custom inlays and active EMG pickups, so the look and electronics stay the same.
Is the Schecter Johnny Christ bass a good choice for metal and hard rock?
Yes. The series uses active EMG pickups, which suit the tight, aggressive low end that hard rock and metal call for. It's also a natural fit for Avenged Sevenfold fans who want the signature bass played by Johnny Christ, with its Satin Black finish and custom inlays.
Does the Schecter Johnny Christ Bass come in a left-handed version?
Yes, a left-handed version of the four-string Johnny Christ Bass is part of the lineup, also in Satin Black. It carries the same custom inlays and active EMG electronics as the right-handed model. Every instrument is set up and professionally packed, and shipping within the US is free.
