Schecter Keith Merrow KM Signature Guitars - frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Schecter KM MK-III Legacy, Hybrid and EX?
The three differ mainly in body style. Legacy, Hybrid and EX are the body shapes in the Keith Merrow MK-III family, and the choice also depends on finish and string count. All share Fishman Fluence Keith Merrow pickups and premium hardware built for precise, aggressive playing.
Does the Schecter Keith Merrow KM series come in seven-string and left-handed versions?
Yes to both. The series includes six-string KM-6 and seven-string KM-7 models, so you can pick the range you want. Left-handed players can choose a KM-6 MK-III Legacy LH. A B-Stock KM-6 MK-III EX is also available, which is open-box, discounted and fully covered.
Is the Schecter Keith Merrow KM a good guitar for modern metal and progressive playing?
Yes, it is designed for modern metal and progressive styles. The Fishman Fluence Keith Merrow pickups and premium hardware support precise, aggressive playing, and the seven-string option adds extended range. Finishes run from Transparent White Satin to Satin Black Open Pore and Snowblind. Every instrument ships set up and professionally packed, with free shipping within the US.
