Sound & Tone
The 28" baritone scale keeps the low seventh string tight and defined in drop tunings, while the mahogany body with ash top gives a resonant midrange core with added top-end snap. The single Lundgren Black Heaven-7 bridge pickup is high-output and aggressive, and its open-coil design keeps note separation intact under heavy gain, so chugging riffs stay percussive and extended chords remain readable. Combined with the ebony board, stainless X-jumbo frets and thru-neck construction, it leans toward modern metal and progressive playing where fast upper-fret runs, tight rhythm attack and killswitch stutters are part of the vocabulary.
Schecter KM-7 MK-III EX Guitar
The KM-7 MK-III EX is a baritone 7-string built for extended range work with serious ergonomic refinement. Its thin "C" neck profile and thru-body construction deliver fast access across all 24 frets, while the mahogany body with ash top produces a resonant platform for both aggressive and articulate tones. This is an instrument engineered for players who demand precision, comfort, and sonic clarity in drop-tuned territory.
Construction & Playability
The thru-neck design with ultra access ensures you can reach the highest frets effortlessly, while the 3-piece hard maple neck reinforced with two carbon fiber rods resists twisting and maintains rock-solid tuning stability. A 12–16" compound radius ebony fretboard paired with 24 X-jumbo stainless-steel frets balances smooth bends with defined articulation, and the 2-way adjustable truss rod with heel-mounted wheel allows quick neck relief adjustments without removing the guitar.
Tone & Electronics
The Lundgren Black Heaven-7 bridge pickup delivers aggressive high-output articulation with open-coil construction that preserves clarity across all seven strings. A single killswitch provides dynamic muting and swelling effects, while Schecter locking tuners and satin black hardware ensure stable tuning and a cohesive aesthetic that won't distract from your performance.
