Schecter Model-T Series Bass Guitars - frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Schecter Model-T Session and Model-T Exotic basses?
The two lines share the single-cutaway shape, so the choice mostly comes down to finish and tonewood. Exotic models use Black Limba, which gives a distinctive, figured look, and come in Natural Satin. Session models come in an Aged Natural Satin finish. Both lines offer 4- and 5-string versions.
Does the Schecter Model-T bass come in left-handed and 5-string versions?
Yes to both. The Model-T Session and Model-T Exotic lines each come in 4- and 5-string versions, so players who want a low B are covered. Left-handed versions are available across the range, so lefties can pick either finish and either string count without compromising.
Is the Schecter Model-T a good bass for players who like vintage looks but modern tone?
Yes, that is the idea behind it. The Model-T takes the classic single-cutaway silhouette made famous by the Telecaster and builds it as a bass, with an uncomplicated look and modern electronics. It suits players who want a vintage-flavored body shape without giving up contemporary tone-shaping options. Every instrument is set up and professionally packed, with free US shipping and 30-day returns.
