Sound & Tone
Three Schecter Diamond 351 single-coils give the MV-6 a bright, articulate voice with the snap and quack of classic in-between positions, while the basswood body keeps the midrange even and the note attack focused rather than harsh. The 25.5" scale adds string tension and clarity for tight rhythm work and chiming clean tones, and the modified 5-way HS switching pulls in thicker, more saturated sounds when you push into overdrive. With 24 X-Jumbo frets, a 14" radius and a 2-point tremolo, it handles funk and pop-rock cleans as readily as fusion legato runs and higher-gain lead playing.
Schecter MV-6 Electric Guitar in Metallic Purple
The Schecter MV-6 combines a contoured basswood body with a fast, responsive wenge neck that invites extended playing sessions without fatigue. This solidbody electric delivers a striking metallic purple finish alongside professional-grade construction throughout, making it an instrument built to handle serious playing demands across multiple genres.
Playability & Neck Design
The thin "C"-shaped wenge neck with ebony fingerboard and 25.5" scale length provides a familiar, comfortable platform for extended range playing. 24 X-Jumbo frets and a 14" fretboard radius support both smooth legato lines and aggressive bending, while Schecter locking tuners and a 2-way adjustable truss rod with heel access ensure tuning stability and long-term adjustability.
Electronics & Tone
Three Schecter Diamond 351 single-coil pickups paired with a modified 5-way HS pickup system deliver versatile tonal range from clean articulation to driven saturation. The Volume/Tone/5-Way SuperSwitch control layout provides intuitive access to the full palette, while the 2-point tremolo with stainless steel saddles maintains pitch stability during extended use.

Will this neck feel comfortable for long playing sessions?
Yes. The 24 X-Jumbo frets and ebony fingerboard support both smooth legato and aggressive bending.
What genres and playing styles is the MV-6 best suited for?
