Schecter PT EX Baritone Guitar Dorian Gray B-Stock
The PT EX Baritone sits solidly in hand with a thin "C" Hard Rock Maple neck that feels fast and responsive, while the 27" scale length maintains tight string tension ideal for lower tunings without mud or flabbiness. Built for players who need serious low-end clarity and stability, this extended-range instrument delivers the punch of a professional-grade baritone in a package that plays like a standard-scale guitar. The B-Stock condition means minor cosmetic marks—zero impact on tone or playability, and exceptional value.
Construction & Playability
A solid Nyatoh body finished in striking Dorian Gray anchors this design, paired with a Hard Rock Maple neck reinforced with two Carbon Fiber rods for rock-solid stability across the full 27" baritone scale. The 14" radius Ebony fretboard with 22 Extra Jumbo Stainless Steel frets and Pearloid block inlays creates a fast, comfortable playing surface, while the 42mm Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut supports clean string seating and intonation.
Tone & Electronics
Schecter USA Pasadena Plus in the bridge delivers high-output punch for aggressive voicings, while the USA SuperRock Vintage neck pickup provides classic warmth and articulation. The 5-way lever switch opens a full range of tonal possibilities from high-gain leads to crystalline cleans, all anchored by the Schecter Diamond PT/H bridge with string-through-body design for maximum resonance and sustain.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does B-Stock mean for this guitar?
B-Stock means this unit is fully functional with minor cosmetic imperfections—in this case, hairline cracks on the fretboard binding. These marks have zero impact on playability, tone, or structural integrity, and the guitar carries full manufacturer warranty coverage.
Is the 27-inch scale length suitable for standard tunings, or only drop tunings?
The 27-inch baritone scale is optimized for lower tunings and maintains tight string tension without mud or flabbiness in extended-range applications. Standard tuning is possible but not the intended design focus; this guitar is built for players who need serious low-end clarity and stability in dropped or alternate tunings.
What pickups does this guitar have?
The bridge features a Schecter USA Pasadeno Plus for high-output punch, while the neck has a USA SuperRock Vintage pickup for classic warmth and articulation. A 5-way lever switch gives you full tonal range from aggressive leads to crystalline cleans.
What is the neck profile like, and will it feel fast to play?
The neck features a thin C-profile Hard Rock Maple with two carbon fiber reinforcement rods, designed for fast, responsive playability. The 14-inch radius Ebony fretboard with 22 Extra Jumbo Stainless Steel frets supports comfortable fretting and quick transitions across the extended scale.
Does this guitar have a locking bridge system?
The guitar features a Schecter Diamond PT/H string-through-body bridge with locking tuners for maximum resonance, sustain, and tuning stability. This design optimizes intonation and sustain across the full 27-inch baritone scale.
