Sound & Tone
The mahogany body and three-piece mahogany neck give this Synyster Standard a thick midrange foundation, while the ebony fretboard and 25.5" scale add attack and clarity to fast, palm-muted riffing. The Schecter Diamond Synyster Gates Signature humbuckers deliver dense, articulate high-gain tones, with the push-pull coil-split offering thinner, brighter voices for cleaner passages and arpeggios. Between the Floyd Rose Special tremolo, 24 X-Jumbo frets and ultra-thin 'C' profile neck, it's aimed squarely at modern metal and hard rock players who want shred-friendly leads and heavy dive-bomb work.
Schecter Synyster Standard FR Guitar Black B-Stock 2765
The Schecter Synyster Standard FR puts a fast, responsive neck in your hands with its ultra-thin 'C' profile and 24 X-Jumbo frets across a 25.5" scale. Built as M. Shadows' signature model, this guitar couples aggressive aesthetics with battle-tested hardware that handles both standard playing and aggressive tremolo work. The B-stock condition means it may have minor cosmetic imperfections but maintains full functionality and performance.
Playability & Construction
The mahogany body with bolt-on construction pairs with a three-piece mahogany neck reinforced by carbon fiber rods for stability and minimal neck dive. The ebony fretboard and 16" radius work equally well for shredding and chord voicings, while the ultra-thin neck thickness (.748" at the 1st fret, .787" at the 12th) makes rapid position shifts and high-fret access feel natural and effortless.
Tone & Hardware
Dual Schecter Diamond Synyster Gates Signature Humbuckers deliver thick, articulate tones across bridge and neck positions, controlled via volume, tone with push-pull function, and a 3-way pickup selector. The Floyd Rose Special 'Hot Rod' Locking Tremolo (Schecter exclusive) holds tuning rock-solid through aggressive string bending and dive bombs, while the Floyd Rose Special nut locks strings in at the headstock with reliable consistency.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does B-Stock mean?
B-Stock means this guitar is fully functional and performs identically to new, but may have minor cosmetic imperfections such as small scratches, dents, or finish marks. No impact on playability, tone, or hardware operation.
Is this guitar suitable for genres outside metal and hard rock?
The Synyster Standard FR is purpose-built for metal, djent, progressive, and hard rock; its high-output humbuckers, locking tremolo, and aggressive character make it less ideal for jazz, traditional blues, or acoustic folk styles that benefit from warmer, more dynamic pickups.
How does the Floyd Rose Special tremolo perform for dive bombs and aggressive bending?
The Floyd Rose Special 'Hot Rod' Locking Tremolo (exclusive Schecter design) with Floyd Rose Special locking nut maintains tuning stability during string bends, dive bombs, and other extended tremolo techniques—a core feature for modern metal playing.
What is the neck profile like, and who is it designed for?
The ultra-thin 'C' profile measures 0.748" at the 1st fret and 0.787" at the 12th fret, enabling rapid position shifts and comfortable access to higher frets. This profile suits intermediate to advanced players comfortable with slim necks and fast lead work.
Can I adjust the pickup output or split the humbuckers?
Yes; the guitar features a push-pull tone control that engages coil-split on both the bridge and neck Schecter Diamond Synyster signature humbuckers, allowing you to thin the output for added clarity and tonal variation.
Do I pay sales tax on this order?
We collect sales tax only on orders shipped to California. Orders shipped to any other US state are charged $0 sales tax at checkout when you buy direct from our website.
