Sound & Tone
The ash body, roasted maple neck and 25.5" scale give this Traditional Van Nuys a bright, snappy foundation with firm low end and clear note separation, and the vintage tremolo adds shimmer and pitch-bending expression. The Schecter USA SuperRock Vintage bridge pickup leans toward cutting, vintage-voiced bite, while the MonsterTone neck and middle units bring thicker midrange and longer sustain, with the 5-way selector and push-pull volume/tone widening the palette between the two characters. That spread suits blues, country, funk, classic rock and pop session work, where sparkling clean rhythm parts and singing lead tones are both needed, and the 14" radius with jumbo frets supports fluid bending for solo playing.
Schecter Traditional Van Nuys Guitar Natural Ash B-Stock 2743
This unplayed B-stock Traditional Van Nuys delivers a comfortable, fast-playing experience with its thin 'C' neck profile and roasted maple construction. The gloss natural ash body with flat top contour presents a classic aesthetic while the 25.5" scale and 22 jumbo frets provide excellent reach and articulation across the fretboard. Minor cosmetic imperfections—a hairline crack at the first fret and light scratches on the fretboard edge—make this an exceptional value on a well-appointed instrument.
Playability & Feel
The roasted maple neck and fretboard deliver superior stability and a refined playing surface that responds well under the demands of live performance, while the thin 'C' shape with .787" thickness at the 1st fret and .866" at the 12th fret sits naturally in hand for extended sets. Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut, Schecter locking tuners, and a 2-way adjustable truss rod ensure the tuning stability and easy maintenance gigging musicians depend on, while the 14" fretboard radius supports smooth bending and comfortable chord work night after night.
Tone & Electronics
The Schecter USA SuperRock Vintage bridge pickup cuts through on stage with vintage-voiced clarity, while the Schecter USA MonsterTone neck and middle pickups deliver versatile mid-range character and sustain that holds up in the mix. A diamond vintage tremolo bridge with volume/tone push-pull control and 5-way pickup selector gives you expressive range from articulate lead tones to warm, singing chords across all positions—reliable performance whether you're tracking or performing live.
