The Wavelength Duo combines a piezoelectric under-saddle pickup with an integrated condenser microphone to capture both the direct string vibration and the acoustic character of your instrument. The dual-source design lets you blend these two independent channels for a natural amplified tone that preserves the complexity of nylon or steel strings. On stage, this means reliable acoustic amplification with the control you need to manage feedback and maintain your tone across different venues and room acoustics.

Dual-Source Capture & Blending

A piezoelectric co-polymer under-saddle pickup and a miniature omni-directional electret condenser microphone work independently, each feeding its own volume control. The microphone sits in a special absorptive visco-elastic polymer shock mount that isolates it from vibration noise while letting you dial in room tone and body resonance. Two lightweight, low-profile knobs let you adjust master volume and microphone level separately, giving you precise control over the blend—essential for dial-in-and-forget reliability at load-in.

Electronics & Feedback Control

An 18-volt, low-noise, high-input impedance preamp delivers twice the dynamic range of typical 9-volt systems, powered by two AA batteries that outlast a full touring schedule. The microphone channel includes two stages of low-frequency roll-off to combat low-frequency feedback, while full coverage copper shielding protects the pickup from external electromagnetic noise. Stereo wiring is available to keep the pickup and microphone channels completely separate through your mixing or amplification chain, so your sound engineer has full freedom over the blend at the mixing console.
