Wylde Audio Goregehn Guitars for the Stage

The Goregehn is built to be seen from the back of the room. Its angular, aggressive outline is one of Wylde Audio's signature shapes, and at LV Guitars it draws players who want a guitar with presence before the first note. Underneath sits a mahogany body and a set maple neck, a combination that gives a solid, connected feel when you dig into rhythm work.

The 24.75" scale gives slightly more relaxed string tension than longer-scale designs, which many players appreciate for bends and fast lead lines. EMG 81/85 pickups in the bridge and neck positions are a familiar choice for gigging metal and hard rock guitarists, with an output level built to drive an amp hard on stage.

Collectors and players alike can choose between Cocobolo Psychic Bullseye, Rawtop Buzzsaw and the Blood River Burl Special Edition, which is the one to look at if you want something a little more unusual. Prices run roughly $1,700 to $1,900, and the shared specs mean you can pick purely on how the finish suits your stage look.
