Its compact form factor and active electronics integrate seamlessly into modern seven-string cavities, delivering the clarity and punch needed to cut through a live mix without sacrificing definition.
Design & Construction
This pickup features Alnico V magnets paired with steel pole pieces, a combination that locks in tight, defined output with excellent sustain and note separation—essential for picking clarity on a crowded stage. The brushed gold finish suits both modern and vintage instrument aesthetics, while the extended series cap measures 3.5 x 1.5 inches, ensuring drop-in compatibility with most seven-string guitar cavities.

The active electronics run on a 9V battery, powering the preamp stage for consistent output and noise rejection—reliable stage behavior across long cable runs and touring conditions. Installation uses a solderless connection system, and the complete package includes mounting hardware, battery connections, pickup cable, and output cable for a straightforward swap without downtime.
