What genres and playing styles is this pickup best suited for?

The 60-8H is voiced for metal, djent, progressive, and other extended-range applications where aggressive midrange punch and articulate cleans are priorities. It is not recommended for jazz, blues, or folk styles.

How does the active circuit affect tone and reliability?

The active preamp, powered by a single 9V battery, delivers consistent gain and headroom across all playing dynamics without output sag or tone coloration as battery voltage drifts.
