Is this pickup compatible with my Floyd Rose bridge?

Yes—the F-H1A features Floyd Rose pole spacing at 0.410 inches (10.41mm) string-to-string and integrates seamlessly into Floyd Rose-equipped instruments and standard bridge positions designed for floating tremolos.

Will this pickup work without batteries or external power?

Yes. The F-H1A is a fully passive design that requires no batteries or external power supply, making it simpler to maintain and more reliable for gigging.

What tonal flexibility does the 5-wire cable offer?

The 5-wire cable supports series/parallel switching and coil-splitting, opening up multiple tonal combinations from a single pickup so you can dial in everything from warm, full humbucking character to articulate, single-coil-like clarity.

How do the Alnico magnets differ from ceramic alternatives?

Alnico magnets provide warm, responsive output with superior harmonic definition and dynamics compared to ceramic designs, making the F-H1A ideal for players who prioritize clarity and nuanced tone over maximum output.

Can I adjust the tone to fit my playing style?

Yes—over-wound coils paired with adjustable pole pieces let you fine-tune magnetic pull and string balance across the fingerboard, ensuring consistent articulation whether you play clean or saturated tones.
