What's included in the box?

The SAVX ships with two connect cables for routing to your onboard preamp, one active tone control pot (Variable Low-Pass Filter), mounting screws, springs, and all hardware needed for installation in a standard single-coil route.

Will this work in my guitar with a single-coil route?

Yes, the SAVX is designed for standard single-coil routes and includes all necessary mounting hardware. You will need an onboard preamp or power source to operate the active circuit.

How does the SAVX compare to passive single-coils?

The SAVX delivers single-coil articulation and note separation with active noise cancellation and a tighter low-end response. Its active amplification provides consistent output and cleaner signal transmission, making it more suitable for high-gain and electrically noisy environments than traditional passive single-coils.

Is this pickup good for high-gain and studio recording?

Yes, the SAVX is engineered specifically for studio sessions, home recording, and high-gain live performance. Its low noise floor, excellent note separation, and active headroom make it reliable for both recording and performing in demanding settings.

What does the Variable Low-Pass Filter (VLPF) do?

The included VLPF active tone control pot lets you shape the high-frequency content of your tone in real time, giving you additional control over brightness and presence for recording or live use.
