ESP LTD B Series Basses for Players

Bass players tend to judge an instrument by the neck first, and the LTD B series is built around a slim one. That makes long sets easier on the fretting hand, whether you are on the four-string B-204, the five-string B-205 or the six-string B-206. The B-1004 steps up for players who want a more premium instrument for the stage.

On a gig, the electronics matter as much as feel. These basses pair ESP-designed or Seymour Duncan pickups with active EQ, so you can shape your tone at the instrument and cut through a band without relying on the house mix. The DX versions in Black Burst and Red Burst bring a bold stage look, while spalted-maple SM models in Natural Satin appeal to players and collectors who like a standout top.

Fretless and left-handed models mean lefties and tone-chasers are not left out. The range runs from about $549 to $2,199, and LV Guitars stocks it for bassists who want a dependable working bass, from first gigging rig to a long-term keeper.
