Sound & Tone
The mahogany body and set-thru neck joint, topped with quilted maple and strung over a 24.75-inch scale, give this EC-1000QM a warm, thick core with long sustain and clear harmonic detail. Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers sharpen that foundation, with the ceramic bridge unit delivering tight, high-output rhythm attack and the alnico neck pickup offering rounder, vocal lead tones, all with the even response and low noise of active electronics. It sits comfortably in metal and hard rock while retaining enough nuance for blues phrasing and progressive playing, and the macassar ebony board adds a firm, defined edge to the note attack.
ESP LTD Deluxe EC-1000QM See Thru Black Cherry Guitar
The EC-1000QM is built for players who demand speed and precision. Its smooth three-piece mahogany neck and contoured body sit naturally in your lap or against your torso, while the set-thru construction locks the neck deep into the body for maximum resonance and sustain. The resonant mahogany body paired with a stunning quilted maple top translates to rich, articulate tone with excellent harmonic complexity—pull thick, saturated tones for metal and hard rock, or dial in expressive, nuanced voicings for blues and progressive work.
Playability & Feel
The 24.75-inch scale length and macassar ebony fingerboard with 350mm radius keep your hand comfortable across fast runs and chord transitions, while 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets reward aggressive bending and precise intonation work. LTD locking tuners and a TonePros locking TOM bridge with tailpiece keep your tuning rock-solid through divebombs, palm-muting attacks, and extended sets.
Tone & Electronics
The Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickup set—with an alnico neck pickup and ceramic bridge pickup housed in black nickel covers—punches with authoritative, defined output and natural compression that cuts through live mixes. Active electronics with volume/volume/tone/toggle switch configuration put full tonal range at your fingertips, from tight, aggressive rhythm tones to singing, sustained leads.
