JBL Control 24C 4" 2-WAY Coaxial Ceiling Speaker B-Stock

No. The Control 24C is engineered for low-to-moderate SPL installed sound such as background music, paging, and conferencing. It is not rated for live performance or high-output venues where peak SPL demands exceed its design envelope.

It is rated at 16 ohm impedance and integrates directly into standard commercial audio systems. The complete package includes the speaker, mounting grille, back can, and tile rails for straightforward ceiling installation.

The coaxially mounted 4-inch woofer and 0.75-inch tweeter are time-aligned, delivering phase-coherent output from a single mounting point. This integration creates consistent, well-blended coverage across the midrange and treble and simplifies installation by eliminating the need for separate tweeter placement.

Yes. The speaker features JBL's integrated SonicGuard overload protection system, which guards against driver damage during electrical spikes and simplifies system design in commercial installations.
