Bass
Bass Guitars for Gigging & Serious Players
A great bass has to hold up night after night — reliable tuning stability, a neck that feels right after three sets, and pickups that cut through a loud stage mix without fighting the front-of-house engineer. The G&L USA Custom Shop instruments available here were built with exactly that kind of real-world performance in mind, drawing on a design lineage that traces directly back to Leo Fender's final and most refined ideas about what a bass should do.
G&L's Magnetic Field Design pickups are a meaningful differentiator for live players — they deliver tight low-end definition and a punchy midrange presence that projects well both through a bass amp on stage and into a DI. The Custom Build to Order program means the instrument you receive is configured to your preferences rather than mass-produced to a generic spec, which matters when you're depending on a single bass as your primary gigging instrument.
LV Guitars stocks professional-tier instruments here rather than beginner options, so this section speaks to players who are ready to commit to a serious, long-lasting tool. The JB-style platform is a familiar, versatile foundation that suits everything from rock and funk to soul and jazz on stage. If you have specific questions about neck profiles, finish options, or Custom Shop lead times, get in touch before ordering — getting those details right matters at this level.
