Schecter C-7 SLS Elite guitar in Blood Burst

The C-7 SLS Elite features dual push-pull volume and tone controls that let you toggle between different pickup modes and voice characteristics without reaching for an external switch. The bridge pickup uses a ceramic Fishman Fluence Modern for high output, while the neck pickup uses alnico for warmer, more nuanced tones.

The C-7 comes factory-set for standard tuning with a 26.5" scale and Ernie Ball 7-string gauge strings (.009–.062), though the extended range and longer scale accommodate drop tunings very comfortably. The tight low end and fast transient response make this guitar equally effective for both standard and alternate tunings.

Neck-thru design extends the wood from headstock through the body, creating excellent sustain and resonance while providing Ultra Access to the highest frets. The carbon-fiber reinforced maple/walnut/padauk neck resists warping and maintains stability under the tension of seven strings.

The C-7 SLS Elite uses a 12–16" compound radius fretboard, which curves slightly more (12") at the nut for easy fretting-hand comfort and flattens toward the body (16") for effortless bending and faster playing. This hybrid design works well for both precision work and aggressive, expressive playing.

The C-7 SLS Elite ships with strings and a factory setup but the case is sold separately; Schecter offers the SGR-1C hard case as a recommended option for protection.
