Sound & Tone
The alder body with quilted maple top and 25.5" scale gives this PT Pro a tight, snappy attack with clear note definition, while the string-thru-body PT-H bridge and stainless steel saddles add sustain and stable, focused low end. Dual Schecter USA Z-Plus pickups push thick, articulate output that holds together under high gain and stays clean and defined when rolled back, with the push-pull volume/tone and 3-way switch expanding the voicing options. Paired with an ebony fretboard and thin 'C' roasted maple neck, it suits rock and hard rock rhythm work, blues-rock lead lines, and modern country or pop session playing where bite and clarity matter.
Schecter PT Pro Guitar Trans Purple Burst B-Stock 2272
The PT Pro delivers a smooth, fast playing experience defined by its thin 'C' neck profile and roasted maple construction that responds immediately to finger movement. The contoured alder body with quilted maple top sits comfortably during extended sessions, while the Trans Purple Burst finish provides visual presence without compromising the instrument's solid construction and resonant character. This B-stock example offers professional-grade specifications at a significant value point.
Playability & Feel
The roasted maple neck with thin 'C' profile measures .787" at the first fret and .866" at the 12th, creating a fast, comfortable playing platform suited to both lead passages and rhythm work. A 14" fretboard radius across 22 X-Jumbo frets on ebony provides responsive feel and clear definition, while glow-in-the-dark side dot markers and a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.653" width) support precise intonation and durability across the 25.5" scale length.
Tone & Electronics
Dual Schecter USA Z-Plus™ pickups with volume/tone push-pull control and 3-way switching deliver thick, articulate output across high-gain and clean applications. The PT-H bridge with stainless steel saddles and string-thru-body design maximizes sustain and tonal stability, while Schecter locking tuners ensure reliable pitch retention during demanding performance.
