Wiring: factory lead wiring varies by model. Each product page states whether that pickup ships 1-conductor or 4-conductor; where a 4-conductor version is not the stock build it is a special order (about 3 weeks, extra cost).

Seymour Duncan Dave Mustaine Pickups - frequently asked questions
Are the Seymour Duncan Dave Mustaine Thrash Factor pickups good for metal?
Yes, they are built for it. The Dave Mustaine family is humbucker-format and tied to Megadeth's Dave Mustaine, so the lineup points squarely at heavy metal and thrash playing. They are an upgrade for anyone who wants to change the electronics in an existing guitar rather than buy a new instrument.
Should I buy a single Thrash Factor pickup or a full set?
It depends on how much of the guitar you want to change. A single Bridge or Trembucker model refreshes one position, while a matched Thrash Factor set gives the whole guitar the same character. Options range from individual pickups to complete sets, so you can upgrade step by step or all at once.
What cover finishes do the Dave Mustaine pickups come in?
Cover finishes include black, black nickel, gold, nickel, white and zebra, so a swap can match the look of your guitar as well as change its voice. There is also a separate Mustaine set in nickel. Every pickup is set up and professionally packed, with free US shipping and 30-day returns.
