Description
AKG DMS300 Instrument Set
The AKG DMS300 is a digital wireless system built for bassists, guitarists, and other instrumentalists who need reliable, low-latency transmission without cables constraining movement on stage. The bodypack transmitter connects instrument-ready and operates with minimal perceptible delay, making it suitable for both studio work and live performance where timing precision matters.
Wireless Performance & Coverage
Operating on the 2.4 GHz digital carrier frequency, this system delivers a 30-meter working range and supports up to 8 coexisting systems for multi-musician setups. The exceptionally low 1.9ms latency (single receiver) and 1.9–2.2ms synchronized latency (multiple receivers) eliminate the timing lag that can derail performances or frustrate tracking sessions in the studio or on the road.
Audio Quality & Security
Audio is transmitted at 24-bit/48 kHz uncompressed, preserving the full tonal spectrum across the 70 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response. 256-bit AES encryption protects the signal from interference and unauthorized access, a critical feature for professional live environments and touring musicians who demand tour-grade dependability.

Frequently Asked Questions
What latency does the DMS300 deliver, and will it affect my timing?
The system delivers 1.9ms latency with a single receiver and 1.9–2.2ms when syncing up to 8 receivers. This is imperceptible in live and studio performance and will not compromise your timing or feel.
Can I use multiple DMS300 systems in the same band or session?
Yes. The DMS300 supports up to 8 coexisting systems on its 2.4 GHz digital carrier, allowing multiple guitarists, bassists, or other instrumentalists to operate simultaneously without interference.
What audio quality does it transmit, and does it compress the signal?
The DMS300 transmits uncompressed 24-bit/48 kHz audio across a 70 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, preserving the full tonal spectrum of your instrument without any lossy encoding.
How far does the wireless range extend?
The system operates with a 30-meter (100-foot) working range, providing ample coverage for most stage setups, studio rooms, and rehearsal spaces.
Is the signal encrypted, and how secure is it?
