EMG SA/SA/89R Active Single Coil Pickup in Black

You get two EMG SA single-coil pickups (typically for neck and middle positions) and one EMG 89 bridge humbucker, complete with active electronics wiring and hardware.

EMG SA pickups are standard single-coil size and fit most Stratocaster-style guitars; the 89 bridge humbucker fits standard humbucker cavities. Check your guitar's pickup cavity dimensions and wiring configuration before purchasing.

The SA single coils deliver bright, articulate single-coil response with low noise courtesy of active shielding, while the 89 bridge humbucker provides punchy, aggressive tones—together they offer range from clean leads to thick rhythm and lead work.

Yes, EMG active pickups require a 9-volt battery housed in the guitar cavity to power the onboard preamp and active electronics; the battery powers all three pickups.

Yes—active EMG pickups are road-tested for reliability, consistent output, and low-noise performance in any stage setting, making them a dependable choice for touring and gigging musicians.
