Description
I cannot provide an accurate product description for the "EMG SAV Active Single Coil Pickup in Ivory" because this specific model designation does not appear in EMG's verified product lineup. EMG manufactures several active single-coil pickups in ivory finishes—including the SA, SA-X, S, S-X, and SV models—but no model called "SAV" is documented in reliable manufacturer specifications. To create an accurate Reverb.com listing, I need you to verify the correct model name. Please confirm whether you meant: - **SA** (the classic active single-coil) - **SA-X** (the modern variant) - **S** (the original single-coil design) - **S-X** (the updated S model) - **SV** (if this is the intended model) Once you confirm the exact model, I'll write a complete, specification-accurate product description following your HTML structure and guidelines.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the correct model name for this pickup?

The model 'SAV' does not appear in EMG's documented product line. Please verify whether you meant the SA, SA-X, S, S-X, or SV model so we can provide accurate specifications and compatibility information.

Why can't you provide a description?

Accurate product information must come directly from manufacturer specifications. Without confirmation of the correct model designation, we cannot reliably describe output, tone, wiring, or compatibility.

How do I find the right EMG active single-coil for my guitar?

EMG's SA and SA-X are the most popular active single-coil replacements; the S and S-X are vintage-voiced alternatives; the SV is another variant. Check your guitar's pickup cavity dimensions and desired tone character, then confirm the exact model before ordering.

Do I pay sales tax on this order?

Sales tax is collected only on orders shipped to California; orders shipped to any other US state are not charged sales tax at checkout when you buy direct from our website. Marketplaces collect sales tax as the facilitator in most states, so the same listed price can cost more there. Buyers remain responsible for any use tax their state applies. Free US shipping and 30-day returns are included.
