Sound & Tone
Neck-thru alder and three-piece maple construction gives this guitar long sustain and a tight, clear low end that holds together under heavy gauge strings and drop tunings, helped by the 25.5" scale and 42mm locking nut. The Fishman Fluence Richard Z Signature set pairs a Modern alnico neck pickup for warm, articulate cleans and leads with a Modern ceramic bridge for cutting, aggressive high-gain attack, and the pull-volume voice switching lets you jump between two distinct voicings on each pickup. It suits industrial, modern metal and hard rock players who need both clean dynamics and saturated rhythm tones, with a Floyd Rose Original on hand for vibrato work.
ESP E-II RZK-II Burnt Fluence Guitar
The E-II RZK-II Burnt is a neck-thru instrument built for aggressive playing and extreme downtuning. Its distressed finish with intentional burn marks and gouges delivers the visual intensity of high-energy performances, while the extended 25.5" scale and thin U-contoured neck provide comfortable access and stability for both standard and drop tunings on stage and in the studio.
Build & Materials
Constructed at the ESP factory in Japan using an alder body and three-piece maple neck in full neck-thru-body design, this guitar achieves excellent sustain and tonal clarity for cutting through a live mix. The rosewood fingerboard features 24 extra-jumbo frets with white binding, while the 305mm radius and 42mm locking nut support both heavy gauge and downtuned strings without compromising playability during extended sets.
Tone & Electronics
The Fishman Fluence Richard Z Signature Series pickup set delivers versatile modern tones through a hybrid magnet configuration: Modern alnico in the neck for warm articulation and Modern ceramic in the bridge for aggressive presence. Both pickups feature brushed stainless steel covers and include a pull-volume voice-switching function, allowing you to toggle between two distinct voicings on the fly—essential for moving between clean dynamics and saturated distortion tones without reaching for a pedal board or amp settings mid-performance.

How does the voice-switching function work?
Both the neck and bridge Fishman Fluence pickups include a pull-volume voice-switching function that lets you toggle between two distinct tonal voicings on the fly without changing pickups or amp settings. This allows seamless transitions between clean dynamics and saturated distortion within a single performance or recording session.
What tunings and string gauges does this guitar support?
