Description
Sound & Tone
The EMG 81 in the bridge gives a tight, cutting high-end that keeps fast riffing and palm-muted chugs clearly defined under high gain, while the EMG 85 at the neck rounds things out with warm, thick lows for sustaining leads. Mahogany body and 3-piece maple neck with set-thru construction underpin that with long sustain and a firm midrange, and the 25.5" scale keeps low strings tight and articulate. With 24 extra-jumbo frets and a Floyd Rose Special, it's aimed squarely at modern rock and metal players who want shred-friendly access up top and expressive tremolo work.
ESP LTD Arrow-400 Charcoal Metallic
The Arrow-400 is a stage-ready instrument built on set-thru construction and an extra-thin U neck contour that lock in excellent sustain and resonance for live performance. This is a workhorse guitar engineered for players who demand aggressive aesthetics paired with rock-solid reliability on the road. The charcoal metallic finish with black binding cuts through stage lighting and presents a professional appearance that translates across any venue.
Playability & Feel
The 25.5" scale and 24 extra-jumbo frets keep your hands moving fast across the neck, while the 350mm fingerboard radius balances upper-register comfort with stable, locked-in barre chords in the lower positions. The 42mm locking nut and extra-thin U contour sit securely in your hands and reward tight technique without causing fatigue during long sets.
Tone & Electronics
The EMG 81 (bridge) and EMG 85 (neck) pairing captures tight, defined high-end attack and warm, full lows—a proven combination for modern rock and metal rigs. The Floyd Rose Special bridge holds intonation rock-solid under tremolo abuse, while the mahogany body and 3-piece maple neck deliver the tonal foundation that keeps this guitar in countless touring rigs.
