Description
Sound & Tone
The mahogany body with maple cap and set-thru construction gives a warm midrange foundation with long sustain, while the 25.5" scale and string-thru TonePros bridge add tightness and attack, and the Macassar ebony board keeps note definition crisp. The active Fishman humbuckers push a modern voice — the ceramic bridge unit cutting and aggressive, the alnico neck fuller and more vocal — with three voicings per pickup for shifting between high-gain rhythm bite and clearer lead or clean tones. Paired with the extra-thin neck and 24 stainless frets, it suits modern metal, progressive rock, and technical lead playing where fast runs and articulate high-gain response matter most.
ESP LTD MH-1000NT BB Electric Guitar — Black Satin with Bold Binding
The MH-1000NT BB is built for players who spend serious time on stage or in the studio. Set-thru construction pairs with an extra-thin U-contoured neck that feels natural in the hand, while active Fishman electronics give you the tonal range to handle any gig. This B-stock unit combines premium hardware and responsive electronics—no compromise on playability or reliability.
Playability & Feel
The extra-thin U neck contour paired with a 42mm molded nut and 24 stainless steel XJ frets lets you move fast across the fingerboard with minimal resistance, critical for technical passages and extended reach during long sets. Set-thru construction with a mahogany body and maple cap locks in solid sustain and body resonance that projects on stage, while the 300–400mm compound fingerboard radius balances comfort across the entire neck without dead zones.
Tone & Electronics
A Fishman Alnico Modern Humbucker (neck) and Fishman Ceramic Modern Humbucker (bridge)—both 3-voice designs with brushed stainless covers—deliver articulate, responsive tones that cut through a mix and stay tight in the pocket. Active electronics give you hands-on control with volume, tone (push/pull), and 3-way switching to dial in everything from clean articulation to driven authority. The TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body design holds tuning rock-solid through a full set and channels every note directly into the body resonance.
