Ibanez Acoustic Bass Guitars for the Stage

An acoustic bass earns its place when it feels natural in your hands and still holds up through a PA. Ibanez builds these with long-scale necks, so the string tension and note spacing feel familiar to anyone coming from an electric bass. The cutaway body makes upper-fret passages easier to reach, which helps when a song moves past the lower positions.

Every model in the series has an Ibanez pickup and preamp onboard, so you can plug into a direct box or a bass amp and play without adding a microphone. That suits acoustic gigs, church stages, coffeehouse sets, and rehearsals where a full electric rig is too much. The series spans AEB10E, AEGB and AEWB bodies plus the PCBE grand-concert bass, giving you a few ways to match body size and comfort to your playing position.

The Artwood AEB10E in Dark Violin Sunburst High Gloss is the one currently stocked, and it has the look to stand out on a stage. LV Guitars carries it for gigging bassists and collectors who want an acoustic bass in the case alongside their electrics.
