JBL ASB6112 Compact High Power Single 12" Subwoofer
The ASB6112 delivers a responsive, controlled low-end that translates every detail of your performance into rich, authoritative bass without overwhelming the room. Its compact footprint and high-power handling make it an ideal foundation for live sound, studio monitoring, or installed systems where professional-grade bass reproduction matters. The single 12-inch differential drive woofer produces punchy, articulate low-end that locks tight with your rhythm section across funk, hip-hop, rock, and any genre demanding serious bottom-end clarity.
Audio Performance
Maximum continuous output reaches 126 dB-SPL with 132 dB peaks, driven by a 700 W long-term power rating (2800 W peak) that handles extended use without fatigue. Frequency response spans 43 Hz to 1 kHz (±3 dB), with extension down to 35 Hz at –10 dB, providing the full spectrum needed for tight, present bass across virtually any application. System sensitivity of 96 dB-SPL at 1W means efficient coupling to most amplifiers and mixing consoles.
Design & Build
The front-loaded vented enclosure uses 16 mm exterior-grade 11-ply birch plywood construction for rigidity and durability, finished in black DuraFlex with IP>3 rating for dust and water protection. Compact dimensions of 406 × 369 × 483 mm (16.0 × 14.5 × 19.0 in) make transport and placement practical, while 16 suspension attachment points with M10 threaded hardware enable secure flying or mounting in any orientation.
