The Martin Exterior Linear Pro-DV QUAD is a professional-grade LED linear fixture built for live events, touring installations, and venue architectural applications requiring precise color control and uniform light distribution. Its compact 4-foot form factor and integrated segment addressing make it reliable for flexible zoning across stages, studio sets, and permanent installs in demanding environments.
Optical Performance & Light Quality
With 32 × 1.5W RGBW LEDs (8 per foot) and a 180-degree beam angle, this fixture delivers homogenized color mixing across its round diffuser for consistently smooth light output. The 50,000-hour minimum LED lifetime ensures dependable operation with minimal downtime on tour or in fixed installations, while efficiency exceeding 50 lm/W keeps power draw manageable for touring rigs and permanent rented gear.
Control & Integration
The fixture supports flexible DMX addressing with 6, 4, 3, 12, or 24 channels (depending on mode), allowing segment-level control in 6-inch, 1-foot, or full 4-foot increments for precise cueing during live shows. Its combined power and data connector simplifies daisy-chaining across multiple units, while RDM compliance (ANSI/ESTA E1.20) and DMX512/1990 compliance ensure seamless integration into standard touring consoles and permanent venue lighting systems.

Can I control individual sections of the 4-foot fixture?
Yes. The fixture supports flexible DMX segment addressing, allowing control in 6-inch, 1-foot, or full 4-foot increments depending on your chosen DMX mode (6, 4, 3, 12, or 24 channels available).
What is the beam angle and diffusion quality?
The fixture has a 180-degree beam angle with a round diffuser that homogenizes the 32 RGBW LEDs (8 per foot) for smooth, uniform color mixing and consistent light spread across venues and installations.
How does this fixture compare to the ETC Source Four LED or Chauvet STRIKE 4?
The Martin Exterior Linear Pro-DV QUAD is a linear architectural fixture, distinct from spot/profile fixtures like the Source Four LED or the Chauvet STRIKE 4. It excels in applications requiring uniform distributed light across long runs, segment-level zoning, and extended component life in permanent or semi-permanent installations.
