Description
SABIAN 18" SEAVINE AV SINGLE
This 18" SEAVINE AV cymbal delivers quick articulation and fast decay with a dark, rich character that cuts through ensemble playing without excessive projection. The expanded center hole and Grip Zone edge make it remarkably comfortable to handle, catching it cleanly for visual transitions or managing it during extended passes. Lighter than the AVX series, this single cymbal works equally well as a standalone piece or as part of a larger setup.
Sound & Tone
The lathed bell with deep impact machine hammering produces a warm, controlled sound with quick attack and faster decay—ideal for articulate passages where definition matters. The dark, rich tonality sits well in both traditional and contemporary ensemble contexts without overwhelming lighter instruments.
Design & Playability
An expanded hole in the center simplifies strap and pad attachment, while the 2-inch grounded Grip Zone edge provides superior catching control and visual appeal for off-hand work. The lighter weight compared to the AVX series reduces fatigue during extended playing or manipulation routines.
