Sound & Tone
The EMG 81 in the bridge pushes a tight, high-output attack with cutting clarity, while the EMG 60 at the neck rounds things out with a warmer, more focused voice for leads and cleaner passages. Mahogany with a flamed maple top and set-neck joinery gives the core tone a defined midrange and long sustain, and the 25.5" scale with an ebony fretboard keeps note definition crisp under high gain. It's built for modern metal, hard rock, and technical lead work, with the Floyd Rose Special holding pitch through heavy vibrato and dive-bomb playing.
Schecter Banshee GT FR Electric Guitar Satin Trans Red B-Stock No. 2
The Banshee GT FR is built for players who demand speed and aggression in their hands. Its ultra-thin 'U' neck profile and 24 X-Jumbo frets across a 14" radius ebony fretboard make rapid position shifts and extended-range work feel natural. The set-neck construction with Ultra Access delivers solid sustain and body resonance without sacrificing upper-fret comfort—a reliable stage weapon for modern electric playing. A finish crack at the pickup selector screw is present on this B-stock unit—purely cosmetic and non-structural.
Playability & Feel
Neck dimensions measure .748" at the 1st fret and .787" at the 12th fret, delivering the ultra-thin feel the Banshee line is known for. The 25.5" scale length and Floyd Rose Special locking nut with 1.625" width lock your tuning tight and hold intonation solid, even with aggressive tremolo use on stage. Maple 3-pc construction with carbon fiber reinforcement rods resists neck movement under pressure, and the 2-way adjustable truss rod with heel access lets you dial in your action without complexity.
Tone & Electronics
The EMG 81 bridge pickup cuts through live with high-output clarity and aggression, while the EMG 60 neck pickup balances warmth for lead work and cleaner textures. A single volume and tone control with 3-way pickup switch keeps your hands free to focus on playing, and the 9-volt clip-in battery compartment powers the active EMG electronics reliably. Mahogany body construction with flamed maple top and set-neck joinery produces focused midrange definition and solid sustain that projects on stage.
