Description
Sound & Tone
The EMG 81 bridge and EMG 60 neck pairing pushes high-output, tightly focused tone with pronounced midrange and long sustain, while the mahogany body and flamed maple top add punch up top and a controlled low end that stays defined under heavy gain. The 25.5" scale, ebony fretboard, and 24 X-Jumbo frets keep note attack crisp and articulate for fast lead runs and bends, and the Floyd Rose Special locking tremolo covers everything from gentle vibrato to steep dive-bombs. It's aimed squarely at rock and metal players who need rhythm parts to cut through dense mixes and solos to sing in the upper register.
