Sound & Tone
The mahogany body and set-neck mahogany construction give this C-1 a warm, thick midrange with long sustain, while the ebony fretboard and 25.5" scale add snap, clarity and tight low-end definition. The Schecter USA Sonic Seducer humbuckers at bridge and neck cover aggressive rhythm chugs and singing lead tones, and the push-pull tone control opens up thinner, more cutting voicings for cleaner passages. With 24 X-Jumbo stainless frets, a 14" radius and a thin 'C' neck, it favors hard rock and metal players who need speed, upper-fret soloing and stable tuning under heavy handling.
Schecter C-1 Silver Mountain Electric Guitar B-Stock
The C-1 Silver Mountain sits in the hand with immediate confidence: a thin 'C' neck profile pairs with 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets for rapid string-to-string navigation and minimal hand fatigue during marathon sets. Set-neck construction with Ultra Access anchors the lightweight mahogany body—finished in striking Silver Mountain with exposed wood on the headstock under clear coat—for sustain and snap while keeping upper-fret access unrestricted. This B-stock unit carries minor cosmetic imperfections but maintains full specification parity with new examples.
Playability & Construction
The mahogany 3-piece neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods resists warping under tour schedule changes and string tension demands, and the thin 'C' profile (measuring 0.787" at the first fret, 0.866" at the twelfth) reduces hand strain whether you're locked in for a three-hour gig or working intricate passages. Set-neck construction with Ultra Access locks the body and neck together for consistent resonance and definition while letting you reach the highest frets without compromise.
Tone & Electronics
Dual Schecter USA Sonic Seducer™ pickups cut through a mix with articulate character—clean enough for rhythm precision, aggressive enough for lead dynamics. The Hipshot Ibby HM bridge holds tuning rock-solid through heavy playing and temperature swings, while Schecter locking tuners and a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut eliminate the tuning-slippage headaches that derail live performances.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does B-Stock mean?
B-Stock means this guitar is fully functional with complete specification parity to new units but carries minor cosmetic imperfections. Sound, playability, and hardware are unaffected.
Is the thin 'C' neck comfortable for extended sessions?
Yes. The thin 'C' profile (0.787" at the first fret, 0.866" at the twelfth) is designed for comfort during long playing sessions and enables rapid position changes, making it well-suited to lead work and fast playing styles.
How does this compare to the ESP LTD EC-1000 or Ibanez S621?
The C-1 Silver Mountain competes directly with those models through its set-neck construction, 24-fret ebony board, and premium hardware (Graph Tech Tusq nut, locking tuners, Hipshot bridge). Tone-wise, the USA Sonic Seducer pickups deliver punchy midrange and articulate leads comparable to other high-end metal guitars in that tier.
What genres is this guitar best suited for?
The C-1 Silver Mountain excels in metal, hard rock, and progressive styles. Its responsive pickups, fast neck, and upper-fret access make it less ideal for blues or jazz playing.
Does it come with a case or strap?
The product description specifies the guitar itself; case and strap are not listed as included items.
Do I pay sales tax on this order?
We collect sales tax only on orders shipped to California. Orders shipped to any other US state are charged $0 sales tax at checkout when you buy direct from our website. On this item that is roughly $70 less out the door than the same listed price at a national retailer or on a marketplace. Marketplaces such as eBay, Reverb and Amazon collect sales tax in nearly every state as marketplace facilitators no matter who the seller is, so the same item at the same price costs less bought direct. Free US shipping and 30-day returns are included. Some states ask buyers to self-report use tax on out-of-state purchases.
