Description
Sound & Tone
Swamp ash and a maple-fretboard neck-thru give this C-1 SLS a bright, articulate voice with long sustain, and the 25.5" scale keeps low notes tight and defined under high gain. The Fishman Fluence Modern set covers a wide range: the ceramic bridge pickup pushes aggressive, high-output rhythm and lead tones with clear note separation, while the alnico neck unit rounds things out for warmer soloing. Push-pull coil splits and a second humbucker voicing extend the palette toward thinner, cleaner sounds, making it a fit for modern metal, prog, and hard rock players who also need usable clean and lead voices.
Schecter C-1 SLS Custom Guitar Satin Black Open Box
The ultra-thin "C" neck profile on this Schecter C-1 SLS Custom feels fast and comfortable under the fingers without sacrificing stability — the 7-ply Maple/Walnut/Padauk construction with two carbon fiber reinforcement rods keeps the neck dead straight through hours of playing or touring. The neck-thru design with Ultra Access locks in exceptional sustain and lets you reach the upper frets without wrestling the body out of the way, while the satin black finish stays looking fresh on stage and won't throw light back at you mid-performance.
Playability & Feel
Twenty-four X-Jumbo stainless steel frets paired with a 12"-16" compound radius handle open-voiced chords and aggressive lead lines with equal ease. Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots mark your place on the fretboard whether the venue is well-lit or dimly staged, while Schecter locking tuners and the Hipshot hardtail bridge keep your tuning locked in through the entire set.
Tone & Electronics
The dual Fishman Fluence Modern pickups — ceramic in the bridge for high-output aggression and alnico in the neck for warmth — give you clarity and definition across every part of your range. Push-pull controls enable coil split functionality and secondary humbucker voicing options, so you can dial in a wide range of tones without reaching for a second instrument.
